Our Journey
The Challenge
It started with our own frustration. As entrepreneurs running multiple small businesses in Lagos, we were drowning in disconnected systems. Spreadsheets for inventory, a separate app for accounting, paper records for customer data, and countless WhatsApp messages for team communication. We were spending more time managing these tools than actually growing our businesses.
The breaking point came when we lost a major client because we couldn't quickly access their order history during an urgent call. We knew there had to be a better way.
The Concern
As we talked to other business owners across Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana, we discovered we weren't alone. The same story repeated itself: talented entrepreneurs with amazing products and services were being held back by fragmented, inadequate tools. The global solutions were either too expensive or not designed for the unique challenges of African markets.
We realized this wasn't just our problem—it was a continental challenge limiting the potential of thousands of businesses that could be driving economic growth across Africa.
The Idea
What if we could create a single, unified platform that gave African SMEs everything they needed to run their business? Not just another app—but a complete ecosystem designed specifically for our context, our challenges, and our opportunities.
We envisioned a solution that was affordable, worked seamlessly even with unreliable internet, and connected all aspects of a business—from inventory and sales to accounting and customer management—in one place. And most importantly, it had to be simple enough that anyone could use it, regardless of their technical background.
